Vyacheslav Butsaev has left the post of head coach of the hockey club (HC) Siberia. This was announced on November 14 by the club's press service.

"Due to the unsatisfactory results of the team this season, it was decided to terminate cooperation with head coach Vyacheslav Butsaev," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that Yaroslav Luzenkov has been appointed acting head coach. The team also thanked the coach for the work done.

After 25 games played, Sibir occupies the last, 11th place in the Eastern Conference, having scored 17 points. The series of defeats of "Siberia" in matches reached 12 games. As a coach in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Butsaev led CSKA, Sochi, Neftekhimik, Vityaz and Barys.

Butsaev has been in charge of the Novosibirsk team since October 3 of this year. Prior to that, Sibir also dismissed the head coach of the team, Vadim Epanchintseva. It was noted that the decision was made due to the unsatisfactory results of the team in the current season.
