It is specified that the assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces during the offensive penetrated the enemy's defenses by more than 4 km and liberated Orestopol. Despite attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to counterattack, the Russian military advanced in spurts.
