A Himalayan bear has not come down from a tree for two days in Primorye
A Himalayan bear has not descended from a tree for two days on the territory of the Shkotovsky woodworking plant in Primorsky Krai. This was reported on November 14 by a correspondent of Izvestia, citing eyewitnesses.
"It's hanging there, looking at us," eyewitnesses said, noting that the animal was watching people, but was not making any attempts to get down.
Employees of the plant expressed concern that the bear could come down at any moment to "get acquainted." According to them, the company's management tried to summon representatives of the hunting supervision, but help never arrived. The Ministry of Agriculture of the region confirmed that they are conducting an investigation into the incident.
On September 25, a woman died as a result of a bear attack in the Leninsky district of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is specified that the patient was taken to the intensive care unit with scalped wounds and a hand injury, but it was not possible to save the woman.
