The date of opening of the new terminal of Murmansk airport has been announced

The new airport terminal in Murmansk is scheduled to open on November 20. This was reported in the Fasten your Seat Belts Telegram channel, citing an informed source.

This date was confirmed by the regional Ministry of Transport. According to the Bi-Port news agency, final preparations are currently underway at the facility.

Construction of a new terminal with an area of more than 7 thousand square meters began in 2023. The airport's capacity will double from 200 to 400 passengers per hour.

In November, Elena Bezborodova took over the air harbor, replacing Alexei Sundenban. Previously, she managed the airport in Belgorod, which has been closed since 2022.
