A late increase in the key rate in 2023 is a mistake. This was announced on November 14 by the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, at the Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan – 2025.
"In 2023, when our inflation rose quite quickly, we were probably too late to raise the key rate," she said.
