The Krasnoyarsk Territory will allocate 15 billion rubles to curb the growth of utility bills. The draft budget for 2026-2028 was discussed by deputies of the Legislative Assembly at a meeting of the Committee on Construction, Housing and Communal Services and Civil Defense and Emergency Situations.

According to Regional Finance Minister Vladimir Bakhar, this amount should compensate for the difference between reasonable prices and what residents pay.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, 20 billion rubles will be allocated for the housing and communal services sector and, in particular, for the implementation of the Clean Water of the Region project, the reconstruction of the Zheleznogorskaya CHPP and the overhaul of 47 houses by the 400th anniversary of the capital of the region.

4 billion rubles will be spent on providing housing for orphaned children, and another 3.7 billion rubles will be spent on relocating residents from emergency homes. Funds are also provided for providing housing for privileged categories, including veterans and young families.

In addition, 2.9 billion rubles will be allocated in 2026 for the implementation of the regional state program "Protection from natural and man-made emergencies and ensuring public safety."

The draft budget will be considered in the first reading at the parliamentary session on November 20.
