The Khabarovsk Territory will introduce administrative liability for carriers that operate regular flights at unregulated fares. The reason for this was the complaints of passengers.

The initiative was considered in the Legislative Duma at a meeting with the participation of the Minister of Transport and Road Management of the region, regional and district deputies, and a representative of the prosecutor's office.

The Ministry of Transport said that out of 76 municipal routes in the region, 33 are operated at regulated tariffs, and 43 are unregulated. The latter most often cause dissatisfaction among passengers.

The head of the department, Konstantin Kravtsov, considers it necessary to develop regulations that will regulate the size of the fleet, the regularity of transportation and the time at which the population should be informed about the increase in fares.

Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office drew attention to the fact that the previously developed requirements were not enough. The deputies supported the initiative to establish administrative responsibility for violators, IA AmurMedia writes.

Earlier it was reported that a fixed fare for electric trains will be set in St. Petersburg. This will allow you to pay for the entire route at once and not pay for each transfer. Deputies of the legislative assembly have passed a law giving the city government the right to do this. The measure, in their opinion, will accelerate the integration of rail transport into the citywide system. This, in turn, will bring the creation of a surface metro network closer.
