A repeat offender from Yakutia robbed friends during a feast

A resident of Yakutia robbed his drinking buddies while drinking alcohol together. He stole cell phones and money from a bank card, the press service of the regional department of the Interior Ministry reported.

Two local residents reported the theft to the Nyurbinsky district police station. A 38-year-old man was detained during the operational search activities.

It turned out that the attacker and the victims were drinking alcohol in the company of friends. During the feast, a Yakut man quietly stole a smartphone from one of the guests and transferred more than 65 thousand rubles from his bank account. The suspect pulled out a phone from another of the applicants. The defendant spent the stolen funds on personal needs.

A criminal case was opened against the kidnapper under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft". According to IA YakutiaMedia, the man had previously been repeatedly convicted of property crimes.
