Erikenova's doctor named the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency
Vitamin D deficiency can be manifested by fatigue, muscle weakness, depression, and frequent acute respiratory viral infections. She told the Newspaper about this on November 14.Ru" dietitian and endocrinologist Diana Erikenova from Bioniq.
According to the doctor, "symptoms develop gradually and include morning stiffness, myalgia, decreased tone, brittle bones and slow wound healing." To detect a deficiency, it is necessary to take a blood test for vitamin D: a result of less than 30 ng/ ml indicates insufficiency, and less than 20 ng/ml indicates deficiency.
It was noted that preventive doses are prescribed, while saturating doses are prescribed for vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency.
"The preventive dose is up to 2000 IU / day, it is safe for most adults. In case of deficiency, a dose of up to 4,000 IU / day is acceptable under the control of tests. If you show signs of nausea, weakness, thirst or seizures, stop taking it immediately and take tests," the doctor concluded.

Among the healthy foods, she named nuts, sea fish, cod liver, eggs, vegetables and mushrooms, but fast carbohydrates should be limited to maintain health and metabolism.
