In Stavropol, major repairs of the Mikhailovsky springs in the Taman Forest have begun. The work is carried out at the expense of the municipal budget, said the head of the city Ivan Ulyanchenko.

The old horizontal bars and changing booths installed several decades ago have already been dismantled on the territory.

"By the end of the year, we will replace the coverings and lay tiles here, install new locker rooms, line the bowls of the pools, and equip an area with exercise equipment for sports," the mayor explained.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, earlier the mayor's office announced large-scale plans to transform the Taman forest. It is planned to set up ecoterrincours there — to throw bridges over the Tashla River and lay paths from Cold Springs to Komsomolsky Pond.

Earlier it was reported that more than a thousand trees will be cut down in Stavropol for the construction of a new polyclinic. A medical facility for 700 visits per shift will be located in the 204 block
