In October, 774 new Audi cars were registered in Russia, which is almost twice as many (+98.5%) as in October last year, when 390 cars of the brand were registered in the country. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel on November 13.

Against the background of October, the growth of Audi registrations in 10 months turned out to be modest — only 5%. Since the beginning of the year, 2,813 new German brand cars have been registered in the Russian Federation. As of the beginning of July, the total volume of Audi cars in the country exceeded 555 thousand units.

The Q5 crossover has become Audi's bestseller in the Russian market this year, accounting for more than a quarter (26%) of demand. Next in the ranking are the crossovers Q7 (17%), Q3 (12%) and Q8 (11%), as well as the A5 model (6%).

The analyst noted that almost half (49%) of Audi cars sold in Russia this year were made in China, and almost all the rest arrived in Russia from Germany in various ways.

Earlier, on November 10, it was reported that 1,061 new Skoda cars were registered in Russia in October. This is 168% more than in October last year, when 396 cars of the brand were registered. At the same time, Volkswagen car registrations in October in the Russian Federation increased by 164% year-on-year, to 1,140 vehicles.
