Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible to perform government functions from a qualitative point of view. This was announced on November 13 by Dmitry Grigorenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Artificial intelligence makes it possible to provide public services and perform public functions in a completely different mode from a qualitative point of view," he said at the Digital Solutions forum at the National Center (NC) Russia.

He noted that modern systems are able to analyze a person's profile and interests and compare this data with a list of government services. In addition, Grigorenko stressed that the decision to introduce AI is made taking into account how much technology will improve the quality, speed and efficiency of work, as well as affect performance discipline.

On November 12, it was reported that a fundamentally new government body, the Ministry of Public Procurement, headed by artificial Intelligence, may appear in Russia. It was noted that the proposal is aimed at a radical improvement of the contract system.
