The Russian side has warned the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, that the unacceptable things contained in his reports about the situation at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) will have consequences. This was announced on November 13 by Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to International Organizations in Vienna.

He noted that it is impossible to talk about what is contained in the Grossi report, as these data contradict the general understanding of the situation between the Russian Federation and the IAEA.

"This is an outrage. <...> I met with the CEO the other day, with Grossi, and warned him that if such things remain in the text, it will have very unpleasant consequences," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Ulyanov recalled that the September report by the head of the IAEA contained outrageous provisions for Moscow, in particular, accusations of undermining nuclear safety at the plant.

Grossi announced on November 7 that the IAEA had agreed on a local ceasefire at the nuclear power plant for repairs. According to the head of the agency, the imposed ceasefire regime will allow work to begin on restoring power supply from the Ferroalloy-1 substation to the Ukrainian energy system.

After that, on November 11, Evgeniya Yashina, Director of Communications at the ZAES, announced that the local ceasefire in the area of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant had been completed after the restoration of both external power supply lines.
