Car tire prices rise in Russia
The average price for premium brand winter tires increased by 4.8% over the year, and for non—premium brand winter tires - by 5.9%. This was announced on November 13 in its Telegram channel by the National Industrial Information Agency (NAPI), which compared the prices of passenger car tires in October 2025 with the middle of autumn last year.
Premium summer tires rose in price by 3.1% over the same period, while non—premium tires rose by 7.8%, experts estimate.
In October of this year, the average cost of winter tires in the premium price segment was 27.9 thousand rubles, and summer tires — 30.8 thousand rubles. In the non-industrial segment, tires for winter roads rose in price to 9.6 thousand rubles, while summer tires increased in price to 10.1 thousand rubles.
Earlier in the day, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate reported that, according to weather forecasts, frosts are possible over the coming weekend, so it is recommended to change summer tires to winter tires.
The day before, Fit Service experts said that the season for replacing summer tires with winter tires started earlier this year: snow fell in early October in most of Russia. Motorists in the Far Eastern, Volga, Northwestern, Siberian and Ural districts went for tire repairs earlier than usual.
