The Crimean authorities have allocated 69 billion rubles, received from the nationalization of the property of Ukrainian citizens, for the improvement of the peninsula. This was announced on November 13 by the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov.

"Thousands of facilities are being sold at the expense of funds received from the nationalization of the property of Ukrainian citizens who support the Kiev regime. We have allocated 69 billion rubles for landscaping," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, by the end of 2025, work will be completed on 236 courtyards and public areas, including sports and playgrounds. Additional lighting has already been installed on 200 streets in 30 localities.

Aksyonov also assured that the construction and repair of water supply systems in 10 settlements is being completed, including drilling wells in the Dzhankoy and Simferopol districts. Current and major repairs have already been completed at 146 educational, sports and cultural facilities. Special attention is being paid to facilities that should be ready for the 2026 tourist season, including the reconstruction of the embankment in Koktebel.

On November 11, Aksyonov, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that the economy in the republic was dismantling growth. In addition, he spoke about several major projects that are being implemented in Crimea. Among them are the opening of three new schools in Yevpatoria, Feodosia and Simferopol region, as well as plans to build six schools by 2030.
