The award for the best digital solutions was presented in Russia

The Digital Solutions Award ceremony was held at the Rossiya National Center.

In the Iron Solution nomination, MTS and Irteya companies received the award for the development, establishment of industrial production and commissioning of domestic base stations. The Data Storage Center, the state Unified cloud platform (gosoblako), was recognized as the best digital service. The Russian Astra Linux operating system, the most popular operating system of domestic production, won in the Applications and Programs category, and the Protey Scientific and Technical Center won in the Communications and Telecom Innovations category for a solution that ensures stable data transmission even under peak load conditions.

MTS CEO Inessa Galaktionova noted that the company had made the right move by deciding to invest in the base station project. "Although everything was ambiguous, and we understood the huge number of problems that had to be solved," Galaktionova said at the award ceremony. She thanked the government and colleagues for their support. "Thanks to their involvement, we managed to create a high—level product," the head of the company emphasized.

Dmitry Lakontsev, CEO of Irteya, thanked the government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance for their support, and expressed confidence that LTE and 5G networks in Russia will be created using domestic equipment. "Six years ago it was impossible to even dream about it, but now it is a reality," Dmitry Lakontsev emphasized.

A total of 1,277 applications from 857 companies were received for the award. The award ceremony took place at the end of the first day of the Digital Solutions IT Forum, which focused on the digital transformation of the country.

The annual national information Technology award "Digital Solutions" is aimed at encouraging government and business projects that contribute to the development of the digital economy and strengthen Russia's technological leadership.
