Media urged to review EU policy towards Russia for peace in Ukraine

According to the newspaper, sanctions are not able to end the conflict and restrictive measures against Moscow have proved ineffective.

"This can only happen if we abandon the misconceptions that many Western leaders continue to support, believing that Russia's economy is broken and it cannot conduct strategic actions in eastern Ukraine," the journalists noted on November 7.
