Lower gasoline prices and higher diesel prices were recorded in Russia.
Average consumer prices for gasoline in Russia from November 5 to November 10, 2025 decreased by 13 cents, to 65.34 rubles per liter, while diesel fuel rose by 15 cents, to 74.56 rubles, reported on November 12.
Gasoline prices decreased in 36 regions of the Russian Federation, most of all in Bryansk (-2.9%) and Tula (-2%) regions. Growth was observed in 29 regions, the most noticeable in the Trans-Baikal Territory (+0.9%). In Moscow, the cost of fuel remained virtually unchanged, while in St. Petersburg gasoline prices rose by 0.2%.
"At the observed gas stations in Moscow, AI-92 gasoline could be purchased at a price from 59.29 to 64.28 rubles, AI-95 gasoline from 65.19 to 74.49 rubles per liter," TASS noted on November 12.
Prices for premium AI-98 gasoline in the capital ranged from 86.6 to 92.51 rubles per liter.
Earlier, on October 31, it was reported that the State Duma offered to provide a discount on gasoline to drivers who had not violated traffic regulations for a month and were not the culprits of an accident. The initiative provides for a 10% discount on fuel through a secure interagency channel with driver status verification, which will encourage safe driving.
