Shoigu announced the duration of normalization of relations between Russia and Japan

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said on November 13 that it would take years for relations between Russia and Japan to normalize.

"A full—fledged normalization of relations in this regard may take years, and then only if the Japanese junta qualitatively reviews its attitude towards the "northern neighbor" and not in words, but in deeds," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Shoigu added that the Russian authorities also take into account the anti-Russian actions on the part of their Japanese colleagues.
