US President Donald Trump intends to sign a bill that will allow the shutdown to be completed and funding for the federal government to be restored. This was announced on November 12 at the White House.

According to the updated schedule of the American leader, the signing of the document will take place at 21:45 local time (05:45 Moscow time on Thursday).

"At 21.45 (05.45 Thursday Moscow time), the president signs the Senate amendment to the bill H.R. 5371 — the Law on Continued Financing," the administration said in a statement.

At the same time, at the time of publication, debates were continuing in the US House of Representatives before the vote, at which congressmen should approve a bill on temporary financing of the government.

Earlier in the day, Trump estimated the damage from the shutdown at $1.5 trillion, blaming the Democratic Party for it. According to the president, the opponents' actions have caused serious damage to the economy and jeopardized the stability of the country.
