In France, they announced the approval of the suspension of pension reform
The French National Assembly has approved the suspension of pension reform. This was reported on November 12 by the newspaper Le Figaro.
"The National Assembly basically approved article 45, which was added by the government in the form of an amendment letter, of the draft law on social security, suspending pension reform," the publication says.
It is noted that the parties "National Union", LR and Horizons opposed the continuation of the reform. Representatives of the parties "Renaissance" and "Democratic Movement" abstained from voting.
According to the newspaper, the suspension of the reform allowed French Prime Minister Sebastian Lecorn to avoid a vote of no confidence.
Earlier, on November 7, it was reported that almost 90% of French respondents called the failed policy of French President Emmanuel Macron. It is noted that 88% of French people do not see an improvement in purchasing power, 86% negatively assess the pension reform, and 85% consider the migration policy unsatisfactory.
