Most Russians who were injured in a collision between a tourist bus and a truck in Egypt have been discharged from the hospital. This was announced on November 12 by the head of the health department of the Red Sea province, Ismail al-Arabi.

"Most of the injured left the hospital after receiving the necessary medical care and improving their condition," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Al-Arabi added that five Russian citizens still remain in medical institutions. They are under medical supervision.

A bus collided with a truck on the Ras Gareb road in Egypt the day before. As a result, two people were killed and 39 others were injured, 27 of whom were Russians.

Later it was reported about the death of a Russian citizen in an accident. The fact of her death was confirmed by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Hurghada. Five more Russian tourists suffered moderate injuries, they were hospitalized and are in hospitals. Later, al-Arabi said that the condition of the four Russians was assessed as serious.
