The website of the new Nordcross car brand has been launched in Russia

Slava Motors Rus, distributor of the Belgee and Knewstar brands, has launched the website of the new Nordcross automobile brand in Russia, created specifically for the Russian market. It contains information about one model, the large seven-seat crossover Nordcross 001, which has a starting price of 6.29 million rubles.

As stated on the website, Nordcross is a local brand "to promote premium cars from China, certified and specially prepared for export markets." The brand name stands for Crossovers for the Northern Countryside ("crossovers for the northern country").

Nordcross 001 is based on Chinese Lynk&Co 09. The car has a soft hybrid powertrain and an all-wheel drive system. The dimensions of the model are 5042×1977× 1780 mm with a wheelbase of 2984 mm. The suv is equipped with a two-liter internal combustion engine with a capacity of 254 hp in combination with an 8-speed automatic. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 8.1 seconds, fuel consumption is stated at 10.6 liters/100 km.

The equipment includes 20-inch wheels, four-zone climate control, a set of driver assistance systems, automatic parking functions, a projection display, a Bose audio system with 14 speakers, wireless charging for a smartphone, seats with electric controls, ventilation and massage, a "winter package" and other options.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the new Geely EX5 EM-i crossover, the brand's first hybrid model in Russia, is entering the market in two trim levels priced from 3.57 million and 3.87 million rubles, respectively. The power plant of the model is made according to a series-parallel scheme. The traction electric motor develops 218 hp and accelerates the car from a standstill to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds.
