The IV Russian Wine Forum has started in Moscow
The IV Russian Wine Forum, a key platform for discussing trends and prospects for the development of the Russian wine industry, has started its work in Moscow. The forum was opened by the traditional gastronomic breakfast "Good morning, Moscow!" from the chef of the Russian-French cuisine restaurant Chateau de Talu Sergey Kupriyanov.
The gastronomic breakfast has become a vivid symbol of the forum – a real bridge between the southern wine regions and the capital. The guests of the event tasted the local products of the Krasnodar Territory and the Chateau de Talu wines, immersed in the philosophy of terroir, without leaving Moscow.
"Our traditional breakfast at the Forum, which we have been holding for the fourth year, is a real gastronomic bridge that we are building between Gelendzhik and Moscow. We bring local products from the Krasnodar Territory to the wine forum and, of course, our Chateau de Talu wine. For the guests of the capital, this is a unique opportunity to touch the philosophy of our chateau. We prove that great gastronomy begins with a local product and a peyring that we select (and many trust our taste) – and this is our main message for the entire HoReCa community," said Sergey Kupriyanov.
During breakfast, the participants discussed the secrets of safe drinking of wine for breakfast, the combination of drinks with unusual snacks and new gastronomic habits in the culture of wine consumption. One of the main issues of the meeting was the balance between traditions and modern gastronomic trends: can wine become an everyday drink, and are red wines appropriate at the morning table?
