The crash of a Turkish C-130 military transport plane in Georgia could have been caused by outside interference or an explosion of ammunition inside the aircraft. This was announced by the Turkiye newspaper on Wednesday, November 12.

"The destruction of the aircraft in the air raised concerns about external interference and an explosion of ammunition inside," the publication said.

The publication also noted that an investigation into this matter has already been launched by the technical teams that arrived at the crash site.

It is reported that the identities of all 20 dead Turkish soldiers have been identified, and their families have been informed of the tragedy.

The incident became known a day earlier. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that there were casualties as a result of the plane crash.

It was later reported that there were 20 military personnel on board the plane. It was noted that search and rescue operations were continuing at the scene.
