The UK intends to ban the supply of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) to third countries. This was reported on November 12 by The Independent newspaper.

"The UK intends to ban access of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) to UK maritime services, including insurance and shipping, for export to third countries," the publication says.

It is noted that this ban is planned to be introduced in 2026, coordinating this action with other European countries.

"This step is part of the ongoing efforts to combat the export of fossil fuels from Russia," the newspaper added.
