Ukraine is not ready to conduct military operations as part of a special military operation this winter due to power outages. This was reported on November 11 by the magazine Foreign Affairs (FA).

"Russia is producing more missiles than ever before, while Ukraine's crippled energy system is no longer able to provide electricity to the entire country. Even the center of Kiev remains without electricity for hours every day," the publication says.

It is noted that despite the work of heating today, the country is not ready for interruptions in the work of public utilities in winter.

According to the magazine, the situation with the establishment of Ukraine's energy system will be determined at the moment when the country understands the position of European countries and the United States.

Earlier, on November 8, the Ukrainian agency UNIAN reported on power outages in Kiev.

On November 5, Alexander Kharchenko, director of the Center for Energy Research of Ukraine, said that it would be necessary to evacuate the population in Ukraine if thermal power plants (CHP) were turned off in Kiev and the city would remain at a temperature of -10 degrees without heating for three days in winter.
