At least 19 people were injured when a passenger train crashed in Buenos Aires. The incident occurred on November 11 near the Liniers station, according to the Infobae publication.
The causes of the accident have not yet been determined. Firefighters, rescue units and ambulance crews arrived at the scene. Nine victims were hospitalized.
The head of the SAME city ambulance service, Alberto Crescenti, clarified that the victims had wounds of mild to moderate severity. Train traffic has already resumed, but trains temporarily pass Liniers station without stopping.
Earlier, on September 3, it was reported that the cabin of the Elevator da Gloria funicular overturned in Portugal. 15 people were killed, and 18 others sustained injuries of varying severity.
