Guard Lieutenant Kulenkov led the assault on the Ukrainian Armed Forces base
Guards Junior Sergeant Sergei Kuznetsov was carrying out a combat mission to deliver ammunition when his vehicle came under mortar fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special military operation zone on Wednesday, November 12.
Kuznetsov skillfully maneuvered the car out of harm's way and successfully delivered ammunition to the Russian military. However, on the way back, he was attacked again, this time by an FPV drone. The vehicle was damaged in a collision with a drone, and Kuznetsov decided to disguise it in order to return and repair it later.
At this time, a shooting battle and an assault on the AFU stronghold began. The junior sergeant of the Guard took part in the clash and destroyed several opponents. When the battle was over, Kuznetsov returned to the vehicle, restored its functionality, and transported several wounded Russian comrades to the hospital.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage and professionalism of Guard Lieutenant Sergei Kulenkov, who commanded the assault unit during the battle for the AFU stronghold.
Kulenkov competently conducted the preparations for the assault, having studied the intelligence and maps of the area. During the assault, he was injured due to an FPV drone attack, but continued to command the unit and did not leave his comrades until Opornik was taken. As a result, the enemy was forced to retreat, and the Russian military gained a foothold in new positions.
Earlier, on November 11, the Russian Defense Ministry told how Guard junior Sergeant Oleg Lisitsin, as part of a repair and evacuation group, was delivering spare parts for repairing equipment when the group was attacked by the AFU FPV drones.
