US President Donald Trump has reiterated that it was the United States that won the First and Second World Wars. He made this statement on November 11, speaking at Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day.

Trump claimed that commemorative events in other countries are held thanks to the victory of the states.

"We are the ones who won these wars," he said, referring to the celebrations in Russia, Britain and France.

According to the American leader, the United States "won all the wars" of the first half of the 20th century.
