The fishing catch in the Northern Basin has reached almost 300 thousand tons.

The fishing catch in the Northern Basin reached 290.5 thousand tons of fish and seafood as of Tuesday, November 11. This is reported by the press service of Rosrybolovstvo.

In the period from November 4 to November 10, fishermen managed to extract 2.8 thousand tons, of which 147.5 thousand tons of cod and 50.5 thousand tons of haddock.

According to Bi-Port news agency, the all-Russian catch reached almost 4,190,000 tons by November 11.

Earlier, Rosrybolovstvo named the reasons for the increase in herring prices. Among them are the costs of investments in the development of the industry and the key rate.
