- Iran's intelligence service has suppressed the activities of agents linked to the United States and Israel
The intelligence service of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has eliminated a network of agents led by the United States and Israel who planned to undermine the country's security. This was reported on November 11 by the Sepah News agency.
"In the course of the measures taken by the IRGC's intelligence directorate, an anti—government network led by American and Israeli intelligence services was identified and eliminated inside the country," the IRGC said in a statement.
Along with this, the text of the document refers to the conduct of several stages of surveillance, intelligence and other intelligence activities against foreign agents.
Earlier, on November 3, the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei, said that cooperation between Iran and the United States is excluded as long as the American authorities continue to support Israel. Khamenei then pointed to the "fundamental" contradictions between the two states.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi, called the ceasefire between the Islamic Republic and Israel extremely unstable. According to him, Iran was forced to exercise its right to self-defense after it faced aggression from Israel.
