There are no direct and unconditional signs of neuro-cyber attacks, Andrey Mishukov, CEO of iTPROTECT, explained to Izvestia. According to him, it is still extremely difficult to determine the use of artificial intelligence in malware, since such viruses behave outside the box and disguise themselves as legitimate processes.

A smart virus can be recognized by an indirect anomaly: chaotic but targeted network traffic, an unexpected increase in memory and processor load for no apparent reason, and repeated intrusion attempts with altered behavior. Such viruses "live" inside the system, constantly evolving to remain in the shadows," the expert explained.

The use of special prompt commands to "trick" AI is an example of such advanced adaptability.

As it became known earlier, the modern cyber landscape has for the first time encountered viruses that actively use AI to modify their own code and bypass traditional security systems. Experts in the IT industry and cybersecurity are sounding the alarm: technologies have changed, and classical methods of fighting require urgent updating.
