On November 12, US Senator Elissa Slotkin admitted that she enthusiastically follows the scandals of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.

"I kind of like watching it on social media. I admit it's like gossip. You know," she said in an interview with Russian prank journalists Vovan (real name — Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (real name — Alexey Stolyarov).

Also during the conversation, the interviewers suggested that Slotkin ask Macron for advice about his relationship with his wife. To this, the senator replied that she should not give such advice to anyone.

BMF TV reported on May 26 that during a visit to Vietnam, Brigitte slapped her husband Macron in the face. Later, the French president explained that it was a joke. French lawyer Francois Danglean noted that the situation between the spouses ridicules the country.
