The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the poisoning of five students at a school in western Moscow. This was announced on November 11 by the press service of the Moscow supervisory authority.

"The Nikulinskaya interdistrict prosecutor's office has organized an inspection in connection with an incident at a school in western Moscow. During it, all the circumstances and causes of the incident will be established, as well as an assessment of compliance with the requirements of federal legislation on minors and the organization of preventive work by responsible persons," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to Olga Dmitrieva, the director of school No. 1448, information about the incident was sent to law enforcement agencies and inspectors of the juvenile affairs commission, and the parents of the students were called.

Previously, 20 children were taken to the hospital.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the students were hospitalized after being poisoned with medicines and alcohol. They received the necessary medical care. Currently, their health is not in danger. According to the school principal, the homeroom teacher noticed the students' strange condition, took them out of the classroom and called an ambulance.
