20 people were injured in the collapse of a balcony in a private house in Chechnya.

In the Gudermes district of Chechnya, 20 people were injured when a balcony collapsed in an apartment building. This was reported by a source of Izvestia.

The incident occurred on November 11 in the village of Ishkhoy-Yurt.

"During the funeral ceremony, people came out on a wooden balcony. The structure collapsed, unable to withstand their weight," the source said.

The injured were taken to the hospital, they are being examined by doctors.

On October 22, a balcony of an apartment building collapsed in Elista, as a result of which three children fell from a height and were injured. It was noted that the incident occurred in house No. 61 on 8 Marta Street.
