Visitors to the Cartoons exhibition will find out what drawings Stalin gave Churchill and how the British Prime Minister reacted to the Soviet leader's gift. Comics. The humor of the Fuhrer's personal enemy."

In the exhibition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the artist Boris Yefimov and the 80th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials, Izvestia International Exhibition Center will present for the first time a unique rarity from its archive: an album with 119 original drawings by the outstanding cartoonist Boris Yefimov. Yefimov, who worked at Izvestia for about 85 years, hand-made this album from his anti-fascist works for the publication of the book "Hitler and his Pack" (1943).

The kit was intended for the publishing house. But when the artist asked to return the originals after the book was published, he was refused: as it turned out, some of the drawings were requested by the Central Committee — Joseph Stalin decided to donate several sheets from this album to British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Later, Yefimov repeatedly tried to find the rest of the album, but he never succeeded.

The public has never seen this unique publication before. Now, it will be possible to study the album carefully, both as a whole and individual sheets from it, at a large–scale exhibition that Izvestia has prepared jointly with the Russian Academy of Arts.
