Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had the opportunity to talk in detail about the situation in Ukraine, as well as to discuss the conflicts in Iran, Palestine and Syria during his working trip to the United States and his meeting with Special Envoy of the President of the United States Stephen Witkoff. "We had the opportunity to discuss in detail many issues related to the Palestinian dossier, which is the responsibility of Steve Witkoff. According to Fidan, the parties discussed what can be done at the current critical stage to end hostilities. And also what role Turkey can play, and on what aspects the United States would be willing to cooperate with it. The head of the Foreign Ministry noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has his own definite views on the Ukrainian problem.

In the context of Syria, Fidan said that Turkey considers the constructive approach of US President Donald Trump to the Syrian issue, and finds it very positive. In addition, during his visit to the United States, the Turkish Foreign Minister met with his Syrian counterpart Asad al-Shibani and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
