- For the first time, a case on violation of martial law will be considered in Moscow.
On November 19, the Ostankino Court of Moscow will consider for the first time an administrative case under the article on violation of martial law (Part 1 of Article 20.5.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). This is stated in the materials of the court on November 11.
According to TASS, the man may face a fine of up to 1,000 rubles or arrest for up to 30 days.
As follows from the data on the website of the courts of general jurisdiction, a resident of the capital, A.D. Kuzin, is being held accountable. The essence of the claims made against him has not been disclosed. The court stressed that this is the first case under this article in the Moscow region since its appearance in the Administrative Code in the summer of 2023.
"A court hearing is scheduled for November 19, 2025 at 16:00," the case file says.
The article provides for liability for citizens, officials and legal entities for violating the rules in force during the imposition of martial law.
Earlier, on October 4, the Ostankino Court of Moscow granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office for the recovery of more than 924 million rubles in favor of the state in the case of embezzlement during the construction of defensive structures in the Belgorod region. The trial took place behind closed doors due to the availability of information containing state secrets, and the defendants were several officials and commercial companies.
