Economist Abramov spoke about the decrease in the price of herring by 9% in a week
Herring has fallen in price by 8.7% in Russian stores over the past week. About this on November 11, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by Alexander Abramov, the creator of the Bears Index, head of the Laboratory for the Analysis of Institutions and Financial Markets at the IPEI Presidential Academy.
"During the week, the value of the "Bears Index" did not change and amounted to 1.9%, as it was last week. Prices for Matias herring have decreased over the past week (-8.7%)," Abramov said.
Despite this, during the same week there was an increase in prices for bananas (+6.1%) and eggs of the "Oka" category C1 (+1.9%).
Considering the price ratio at the beginning of the year and today, we can note a similar trend: some products have risen in price, some have fallen in price.
"Over the year, the price of sweets "Mishka clubfoot" (+57.1%), orange juice J7 (+42.9%), sunflower oil "Oleina" (+33.8%), milk "House in the village" 3.2% fat content (+30.4%), processed cheese product "Fetaxa" (+29.7%), budget chicken carcasses (+18.8%), white bread (+10.0%), Matias herring (+5.6%) and Fruit-tella baby marmalade (+1.1%)," the expert specified.
Butter, bananas, eggs, carrots and black tea are among the products that have fallen in price over the year.
Earlier, on November 6, it was reported that the price of beef in the world for the first time exceeded $7 per kilogram. Beef prices have continued to rise for the fifth month in a row. In October, they increased by 3% compared to September and by 17% compared to the same month last year. As a result, 1 kg of beef costs $7.1, which is a historical maximum, according to data from 1960.
