Guard Junior Sergeant Oleg Lisitsin, as part of a repair and evacuation group, was delivering spare parts for repairing equipment when the group was attacked by FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special military operation zone on Tuesday, November 11.

Lisitsin, driving the car, skillfully maneuvered, which made it possible to get vehicles with spare parts out of the drone strike. Upon reaching the destination, the junior sergeant of the guard carried out the necessary repairs and evacuated the equipment to a safe place for further restoration work.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the prompt actions and competent leadership of the Guard of Senior Sergeant Sergei Volkov, who commanded the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) combat vehicle and was tasked with destroying the firing points and fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forest belt.

In the waiting area, the crew was attacked by enemy artillery. A combat vehicle was damaged and a senior gunner was wounded in the arm. After assessing the situation, Volkov promptly arranged for the wounded man to receive the necessary first aid and emergency evacuation for further treatment. The damage to the combat vehicle turned out to be uncritical, and Volkov himself took the gunner's position to complete the task. As a result of the coordinated work of the crew, an APU mortar and up to ten enemy personnel were destroyed.

Earlier, on November 9, the Russian Defense Ministry said that operators of FPV drones of the 3rd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Yuzhnaya group of forces destroyed a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier and an armored vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Seversky direction of the special operation.
