The demand for the purchase of foreign currency by legal entities increased by 7.14% in October and amounted to 3 trillion rubles. This was reported on November 10 in the "Financial Market Risk Review" published by the Central Bank of Russia.

"The demand for foreign currency from legal entities (excluding banks) increased in October compared to September from 2.8 trillion to 3.0 trillion rubles," the review says.

It is noted that the net purchase of foreign currency by individuals increased to 158.6 billion rubles. The central Bank determines the increased demand by one-time factors.
