Chita authorities plan to put 16 yards in order
Chita plans to put 16 yards in order in 2026. The authorities have already requested funds for landscaping, said Alexander Zudilov, head of the urban planning policy committee, during a planning meeting on Monday, November 10.
"Applications have been submitted for 16 yards for next year, but it is not yet clear how much funding will be provided and how much the Department for Territorial Development of the Trans—Baikal Territory will allocate," the official explained.
Zudilov expressed the hope that the money would be given to all 16 yards, then it would be a "significant breakthrough" for the city.
In the current 2025, work took place on four house territories within the framework of the regional project "Improvement of Far Eastern yards". More than 41.5 million rubles were spent on the renovation of public areas, writes ChitaMedia news agency.
Earlier it was reported that two new squares appeared in the village of Novokruchininsky near Chita. More than 10 million rubles were spent on the improvement of public spaces.
