The carsharing driver traveled more than 3 thousand km in one trip
The longest long-distance carsharing trip this year was made by a man who traveled 3185 km from St. Petersburg to Yekaterinburg in April, driving a Haval Jolion. On November 11, Delimobil told Izvestia about this, which examined data on intercity trips from April to September after the introduction of the appropriate tariff.
The second longest carsharing trip was made by a girl who traveled 3,147 km in a Volkswagen Tiguan from Sochi to St. Petersburg in July. The company's analysts noted that this area is considered one of the most in-demand in the service, especially during the holiday season.
From April to September, there was a 30% monthly increase in demand for long-distance travel. Following the results of the six months, the route between Moscow and St. Petersburg became the most popular. At the same time, the most people traveled from Kazan by delimobiles to Samara, from Sochi to Rostov-on-Don, and from Yekaterinburg to Chelyabinsk. It is noted that in August, at the height of the holiday season, the number of trips to Sochi from all cities increased many times, and Nizhny Novgorod became the leader in this indicator, overtaking Moscow.
The survey showed that 35% of users traveled to another city to visit family and friends, 29% of respondents went on vacation or travel, 16% went on work or business trips, and 5% of survey participants used the intercity fare to travel from one city to another and transport things.
In Moscow, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Tula, Ufa and Yaroslavl, the Haval Jolion has become the most popular car for long-distance travel. Users from Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk made the most trips between the cities on a Nissan Qashqai. People usually leave Novosibirsk by intercity on Geely Emgrand, and from Krasnodar on Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max. Among the more expensive cars, the Mercedes-Banz GLC 250 and Jaecoo J7 were the most popular.
Prior to that, on September 10, Citydrive told Izvestia that the number of items left in carsharing cars varies from 250 to 300 units per month. These are usually documents, keys, headphones, and hats, but there are also unusual items. At the same time, this year, users, among other things, forgot the orange cash terminal, the remote control from the barrier, ski poles and even the window sill in their cars.
