At the beginning of the second decade of November, the Russian currency as a whole remains stable. The ruble is showing some signs of a gradual weakening in the range of 79-83 rubles per dollar, 91-96 rubles per euro and 11-11.60 rubles per yuan. Spartak Sobolev, head of the Alfa-Forex Investment Strategy Research department, told Izvestia on November 10.

On November 10, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation set the exchange rate of the American currency at 81.2 rubles, the European currency at 93.8 rubles, and the Chinese currency at 11.3 rubles. At the same time, according to the Moscow Exchange, on November 10, the yuan is also trading at 11.3 rubles.

"A reduction in the supply of foreign currency from the Russian Ministry of Finance may put pressure on the foreign exchange market. By the end of this week, Rosstat will publish inflation data for October, which may be important for the December meeting of the Central Bank regarding the continuation of a possible reduction in the key rate," Sobolev said.

Earlier, on May 23, Yulia Khandoshko, CEO of the European broker Mind Money (ex Cerih), reported that the number of new dollars in the Russian Federation may be decreasing due to the global trend towards a decrease in cash turnover, as well as due to the peculiarities of the Russian market and the shortage of cash imports into the country.
