Three servicemen received awards for the detention of Private Kostrikin

Three servicemen who detained Private Alexei Kostrikin, accused of murdering a man and raping his wife in Novaya Tavolzhanka, Belgorod region, received state awards. The award ceremony was held on November 10 at an operational meeting of the regional government

The servicemen were awarded for their personal bravery in protecting residents of the border territories of the Belgorod region. Kostrikin escaped from custody on the evening of October 31, after which officers of the military police of territorial defense and the voluntary people's militia were involved in his search.
