AvtoVAZ announced the resumption of sales of Lada Largus

AvtoVAZ unblocked sales in the dealer network of a limited batch of Lada Largus, which required an additional check of one of the valves. Production of cars of this model continues in the planned volumes. This was reported to Izvestia by the company's press service on November 10.

According to AvtoVAZ, as a result of tests on public roads, the landfill and in the climate chamber, it was revealed that a special liquid from one of the suppliers used in the valve operation may exhibit reduced viscosity over time, which leads to the need for additional warming up of the car before driving.

"AVTOVAZ specialists have tested cars using liquids from other suppliers, among which a sample was selected that fully meets the technical requirements for viscosity and the preservation of these characteristics over time. AvtoVAZ has developed a procedure for correcting and preventing the identified feature," the company said in a statement.

The company has sent recommendations to the Lada dealer network, and deliveries of a new technical fluid have started. Sales of a limited batch of Larguses have been restored. AvtoVAZ is currently preparing an appropriate service company.
