Sales of Ora cars in Russia have almost disappeared

The Chinese car brand Ora completes its presence in the Russian market. This was announced by Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, in his Telegram channel, pointing to low car sales.

According to Tselikov, dealers have practically no Ora cars left. In October, 24 electric cars were sold, and in the first 10 months of this year — 366 units. At the same time, the total sales volume, starting in 2022, amounted to 921 copies.

In total, 940 copies of the Ora were imported to Russia over several years. And over the past 10 months, only 20 units have been imported, the analyst estimates.

The Ora brand is part of the Great Wall Motor Group. She did not have her own car dealerships, electric cars were sold together with the Wey and Tank brands.

The Ora car brand debuted on the Russian market in the fall of 2023. In August 2024, it entered the top five in terms of electric vehicle sales in the country for the first time.

Earlier, on October 27, it became known that the company in the Lipetsk region completed the production of the electric sedan Evolve i-Pro.
