Oleg Kan's lawyer asked to dismiss the criminal case in connection with his death.

On November 10, the lawyer of Sakhalin businessman Oleg Kan, known as the "crab king," appealed to the court with a request to dismiss the criminal case on the creation of a criminal community and the smuggling of live crab worth over 2.6 billion rubles, in connection with the death of his client.

"The petition for the termination of the criminal case against Oleg Kan in connection with his death. The fact of death has been established and registered," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
