Putin congratulated Interior Ministry employees on their professional holiday
On November 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Interior Ministry employees on their professional holiday, noting their dedication, responsibility and self-sacrifice.
"Dear comrades! Friends! I congratulate the personnel and civilian staff of the veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the holiday — the Day of the Employee of the Internal Affairs bodies," Putin said in his video message on the occasion of the holiday.
The President stressed that this day honors those who have dedicated themselves to difficult and responsible work. He noted that these are people who, sparing no effort and often risking their lives, faithfully fulfill their official and civic duties, those who wage an uncompromising fight against crime, violence and lawlessness. Even on this holiday, they are on duty, ensuring the safety of citizens while on duty, in intensive mode and at posts.
It is such people who are devoted to their profession and honor who have always been and remain a reliable pillar of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Putin noted.
The Russian leader added that the Interior Ministry is still one of the central pillars of the state system and that the agency reliably guarantees the safety of citizens and maintains order within the country, actively participates in the implementation of strategic objectives and makes a significant contribution to strengthening Russia as a strong legal and democratic state.
On November 4, Putin congratulated Russians on National Unity Day during the state awards ceremony in the Kremlin. The President noted that the Russian Federation defends its sovereignty today, as in 1612. In addition, the Head of state thanked Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia for his contribution to strengthening the nation.
